On Sat the 23rd we had our first Loop Come And Try Day,
We were based at Ballyheather Trout fishery in Co Tyrone in Northern Ireland..
The idea of the day was to hold a free event for anglers in the local community offering casting and fishing tuition, information on the tackle range and have some fun and laughs as well😊
Throughout the season we are always asked for advice on rods, reels and lines and this day allowed anglers to come along and try out any piece of tackle in the range and see what suits their needs for the waters that they fish.
All who attended said they really enjoyed the day and our team members were very busy on the water,
We had in excess of 120 anglers on the day and I would like extend our thanks to every single one of them for coming along and making the day such a success…
The fly fishing community is one we are incredibly proud to be part of and we are here to offer help and advice throughout the year if needed.
We believe in giving something back to the community where we host the events and on the day we held a raffle for some LOOP prizes,
We raised £183 on the day which is being donated to the Foyle Hospice which is a very well known charity here in North West Ireland.
Finally a massive Thank You!! to Andy Diver who owns the tremendous Ballyheather Trout Fishery who hosted us,
Andy your hospitality was first class and we all really enjoyed our day at the fishery.
